BC Concrete Association Announces 2010 Board Leadership
Vancouver, BC, November 9, 2009 (News Release) — The BC Ready-Mixed Concrete Association (BCRMCA) today announced the results of its annual board elections at the Association’s 47^th Annual General Meeting at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel in Vancouver, B.C.  Bruce Willmer (Vice President, Greater Vancouver Ready Mix, Lafarge Canada Inc.) has been elected to serve as President and Larry Baloun (Vice-President and General Manager, Ocean Construction Supplies Ltd.) will serve as Vice President.
"I'm pleased be selected as the association president by my industry peers," said Bruce Willmer.  "I look forward the opportunity to work with my colleagues to remind all British Columbians and government leaders that concrete is BC's most popular building material because its local, economical, safe, durable and very green, especially over the full life of a structure."
New members of the Board of Directors include Ron Busch (Vice President, OK Builders Supplies Ltd in Kelowna, BC), Brandy Dickey, (Area Manager, Williams Lake Division, United Concrete & Gravel Ltd.), Kelly Hines (Area Manager Western Canada, BASF Construction Chemicals, Edmonton, AB), Irv Lenz (Sales Manager, BURNCO Rock Products, Burnaby, BC), Tony Martens (Production Manager, Butler Brothers Supplies Ltd., Victoria, BC), Allan Norgaard (President, Norgaard Ready-Mix Ltd., Kamloops, BC).
