BC Concrete Association Announces 2010 Board Leadership

Vancouver, BC (News Release) — The BC Ready-Mixed Concrete Association (BCRMCA) today announced the results of its annual board elections at the Association’s 48th Annual General Meeting at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria, B.C.  Frank Antonio (President, F & F Concrete Ltd. in Richmond, BC) has been elected to serve as President and Tony Martens (Production Manager, Butler Brothers Supplies Ltd., Victoria, BC) will serve as Vice-President.  Irv Lenz (Sales Manager, BURNCO Rock Products, Burnaby, BC) was elected Secretary-Treasurer and Doug Blender (Energy Manager, Lehigh Hanson Canada Region) will serve as Past-President.

"I'm pleased to be selected as the association president by my industry peers," said Frank Antonio.  "I look forward to the opportunity to work with my colleagues to remind all British Columbians and government leaders that concrete is BC's most popular building material because its local, economical, safe, durable and very sustainable, especially over the full life of a structure."
