Additionally, the BC Trucking Association (BCTA) is hosting a workshop covering the technical and administrative aspects of the transition to the harmonized sales tax (HST) on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the Hotel Grand Pacific in Victoria. The 2 hour HST Transition Workshop will be of interest to bookkeepers, accounting staff, and/or IT personnel who need to plan for HST implementation prior to July 1, 2010, when the new tax becomes effective.
